Objective and outputs:
To establish a multi-disciplinary Knowledge Management and Communication Centre that will manage and communicate information and knowledge around HIV and strategies to address it, in an accessible and persuasive form.
The specific outputs are:

Data pertaining to the HIV epidemic in Uganda is systematically stored and archived in coherent form that is easily accessible to national stakeholders

Available evidence on the HIV epidemic and national response is systematically synthesised, analysed and published in appropriate form for uptake by stakeholders

Evidence and lessons learned from scientific as well as action and participatory research on the HIV epidemic and response are effectively disseminated and communicated to a wide range of stakeholders

Evidence and lessons learned from research on the HIV epidemic and response inform emerging policy and practice

National stakeholders have improved capacity for knowledge management

Findings from the impact evaluation of DFIDU supported HIV prevention work in 6 pilot districts are effectively disseminated as they emerge and inform policy and practice
