Detailed description of project:
The aim of project is transfer of water from Jordan River to Karameh Dam during flood period in the rate of 11.5 Million m3/year.
The project consists of construction, completion and maintenance of the following components:
- Storage pond, with 110,000m3 capacity, lined with reinforced concrete and protected by a dike.
- Reinforcecl concrete intake structure including gabian, looseriprap, and grouted riprap.
- Pumping station, consisting of 4 vertical turbine pumps with acapacity of 1500 ml/hr each, within a sleet hunger 40mx20malong with the hungers utilities.
- 1000mm steel pipeline with a tolal length of 2.2 km.
- Service road 2.25 krn long, 8m wide along the route of the pipeline.
- Settling basin, with 9,5ODmJ a capacity of lined with reinforced concrete.
- 200m long embedded 800mm gravity steel pipeline.
- Box culvert of total width of 3.5m and lolal length of 200m.
- Underground wet wetl with total volume of 3,OOOm3
- Electromechanical works (control panel, transformer, Electromagenlic flow meter, ultrasonic level measurment cablesefc).
- Mechanical work (fittings, valves, surge vessel,.. etc)
