Description

Client: Mepex
Project: Design of sanitary-, drainage-, heating-, ventilation- and sprinkler system
Scope of work:
The project was to pre-design and make a cost estimate for a Waste Treatment Plant (10.400 m2) in Stavanger, Norway. The building is divided into receiving halls, production halls, cleansing area and lager area. There is also a three story building within the main building for employees and offices.
The building is for the most part heated up with ventilation system. The building is protected with an automatic sprinkler system and a water canon system. Because of the height of the building there are also smoke hatches in the roof of the building. The ventilation system takes care of the heating of the building for the most part as well as transferring dirty air threw a chimney before releasing it to the environment.
