Consultancy services for the supervision of the execution of the turnkey power plant works – the Zouk and Jiyeh

PROJECT: 
The Ministry of Energy & Water has entrusted decon international GmbH to render consulting services and assist the Ministry through its dedicated Project Implementation Unit (PIU) in supervising the execution of the works for the 200 – 300 MW Zouk and Jiyeh diesel power plant that will ensure energy efficient generation of the electricity to ensure stable grid operation and improve access to the electricity for population.

SERVICES PROVIDED: 

• Providing consulting services to assist the Ministry in supervising the execution of civil, mechanical, electrical and IC works for the 200-300 MW Zouk and Jiyeh Diesel power plants 
• Planning and scheduling activities and resources 
• Reviewing and approving contractor’s plans, schedules, design and engineering 
• Supervising contractor’s works and monitor performance 
• Overseeing and controlling the project schedule and manage the costs and payments system HSE and QC of contractor’s works 
• Supervising shop/factory tests, site work tests, start-up and commissioning, guarantee tests and reliability run 
• Transfer of knowledge and technology
