Contract description: The overall objective of the Operation is to improve the competitiveness of the Kahramanmaraş and the purpose of the Operation is to increase the competitiveness of Maraş Pepper Cluster.
Kahramanmaraş will be the base of the Operation but the project will cover 2 provinces in the East Mediterranean Region (Kahramanmaraş (base of operations) and Hatay) and 4 provinces in the Southeast Anatolia Region (Gaziantep, Adıyaman, Kilis and Şanlıurfa).
The project is composed of three components. The first component will focus on developing a cluster roadmap through cluster analysis. The second component will be the implementation of the Clustering initiative in particular the establishment of the cluster coordination unit, cluster branding and promotion and facilitation of innovation in the cluster. Finally the third component of the Project concerns “operation of the Lab and Common-use Packaging Facility”.

Duration of contract: 18 months
