Samsung C&T Southeast Asia & Oceania (Southeast Asia & Oceania Regional Office) operates 17 offices in 8 countries including Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia, of which 9 are trading offices focusing on fertilizer and steel. In addition, the regional office is actively engaged in project organizing as demand for power, transportation and IT infrastructure in the Southeast Asian market continues to increase. It also operates palm plantations in Indonesia. Samsung C&T’s global trading business encompasses items of diverse fields, namely chemicals and industrial materials including fertilizer, mining chemicals, methanol and electronic materials, steel products including hot rolled steel, plate and automotive steel, and natural resources including coal and copper.
