Sogesid SpA MATTM

SOGESID Spa is the in-house engineering and technical assistance company of the Ministry for the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea (MATTM).  
Its share capital is public and entirely held by the Ministry of the Economy and Finance. 
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer is Dr. Enrico Biscaglia . Dr. Gaetano Barra and architect Elisabetta Ferrari are directors. 
The staff exceeds 500 units and operates in the offices of Rome, Naples, Palermo and Catanzaro.
Founded in 1994 as a "Company for the Management of Water Plants", it was initially engaged in Southern Italy and in particular as concession holder for the management of some plants in the Campania Region. 
Over time its activity has expanded and rooted in all the land of environmental protection. In line with the objectives defined by Italy at national level, as in the European and international context, today Sogesid operates in the awareness that its functions are strategic and consistent with the vision of a new sustainable development , in which the Natural Capital is an element central to real territorial growth.
