Association de formation professionnelle de l'industrie rhodanienne (AFPI) is a member of the network of UIMM Pôles Formation. It brings together the training and consulting organizations of UIMM LYON-FRANCE and pools the know-how of its specialized structures to support industrial companies in the search for performance and the development of skills.
The 3 activities of this 1st training center of the industry of the future are: - Apprenticeship - Continuous training, reconversion, the professionalization contract - Industrial performance consulting and management - HR The center, established in Lyon 8th, comprises 30,000 m2 of industrial facilities and equipment and relies on 180 specialists (trainers, engineers, consultants, employees) dedicated to vocational training.
The Industrial Resources Institute's main mission is to support young people in their professional projects:
• Train: Thanks to experts from the professional world and a fleet of 400 machines similar to those of today's industry , the educational contents are specially adapted to the success of the apprentices.
• Inform: Presentation at colleges / high schools, reception centers, open days, trade fairs ...
• Integrate: Help with company search, integration week with trainers to promote exchanges, follow-up of the apprentice ... Integrating IRI when you are an apprentice does not just mean having quality technical training. It's also opening up to discovery and citizenship:
• Actions to raise awareness about disability, road safety, alcohol consumption, safe haven, etc.
• Ability to participate in missions in Africa or Laos by providing business expertise. An altruistic way of opening oneself to another culture and giving meaning to one's career.
• Cultural exchanges with German apprentices.
