Projects:
• Promoting and Scaling Up Solar Photovoltaic Power through Knowledge Management and Pilot Testing in Bangladesh and Nepal, ADB, May 2017 – Present: as the Team Leader and Renewable Energy Specialist, lead a multi-disciplinary, multi-national team, to deliver the consulting service. The scope of work includes facilitating increased access to affordable, reliable, clean renewable energy sources and technologies for poor households headed by women and women living below the poverty line in rural remote off-grid areas in Bangladesh, supporting capacity development for the beneficiaries of the solar pumping system, pilot testing of women-led solar pumping based microenterprises in rural off-grid areas and developing business models.
• Green Power Development & Energy Efficiency Improvement Investment Program, Feb 2016 - present, ADB/CEB: Transmission Specialist and Team Leader, managing a mulegi-disciplinary team to deliver due diligence for transmission and distribution projects, implement smart grid and demand side management pilot projects, and design smart grid projects for the next stage. Review of the Philippine Power Sector Reform, June 2015 - Dec 2015, ADB, specialist consultant to review the Philippine power sector reform since 2001, summarize the lessons learned from the reform.
• Smart Grid Applications for Lower and Middle Income South Asia Countries, Nov 2014 - April 2015, ADB, specialist consultant to review smart grid technologies and appropriate applications for South Asia countries. Studied Nepal and Sri Lanka in particular, developed smart grid roadmaps and strategies for applying smart grid technologies to improve network efficiency and stability. The result of the project is being developed into a Working Paper to be share with developing country members.
