About

The work involving law, economics and science promotes socio-economic development that engenders trade and investments in an environmentally sustainable manner; while the work involving law, democracy and governance promotes a democratic dispensation embedded on the rule of law.
Although the CALR's work has been mainly in Zimbabwe; it is also responsible for operations in the Southern, Eastern and North African sub-regions. Since its humble beginnings in 2010, CALR has worked with a variety of governments, developmental partners and civil society organizations, private corporations in diverse sectors including: trade and investment; public health; water and sanitation; agriculture; forestry; electoral systems; and media. In addition to that, CALR has also worked with private entities offering legal advice on regulatory compliance issues.
