Proess Ltd is an established and respected Ugandan based company providing engineering and environmental consultancy services. The company has been active since 2009. The Company provides multidisciplinary consulting engineering and environmental services to public and private Clients in Uganda and the general East Africa region covering the lifecycle of a project across urban renewal, transport design and energy sectors.

The company’s core business experience lies transportation, hydropower, transmission and distribution lines encompassing feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Resettlement Action Plan studies, construction management and project management.

In addition to work in Uganda, Proess has successfully implemented infrastructure projects in Zambia, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda and Djibouti.

Proess is registered with several professional bodies and client bodies including the Uganda Association of Consulting Engineer (UACE) (a FIDIC affiliate) and the Public Procurement and Public Disposal of Assets Authority.

The Company has worked on numerous international donor-funded assignments in Uganda and Sub-Saharan Africa. These donors have included the World Bank, Dutch FMO, African Development Bank through the Africa Renewable Energy Fund and DANIDA through TradeMark East Africa.
