Tanzania Bora Initiative

Tanzania Bora Initiative is a collaborative efforts of Tanzanian individuals who share common objectives of development in social, political and economic aspects through Media and Arts. The initiative is inspired and driven by the zeal of seeing an engaged, accountable, and responsible society, where every citizen has responsibility and a role to play in bringing about sustainable development, and emphasizing accountability by leaders at all levels. The term "Bora" is a Swahili word for "Better", hence, it is from this premise that the Initiative envisages to contribute towards building a peaceful and democratic society which embrace and uphold principles of democracy, accountability, transparency, human rights, participation and equality of all people in all forms.
