Spencon is a leading East African civil engineering and construction company established in 1979 that specializes in water supply & sewerage systems, civil works including roads, bridges and buildings, and power and transmission lines.

It has undertaken more than 200 projects in some of the most difficult geographies including urban and rural Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, and Southern Sudan.

Spencon is a preferred contractor with international development agencies, routinely working for the World Bank, African Development Bank, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and Kreditanstait fur Wiederaufbau (KfW) among others. Clients depend on the expertise of Spencon to deliver capital projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and with the quality standards they expect.
