CONSULTING ENGINEERS & CONTRACTORS (PVT) LTD, commonly known as CEC, is a major construction company in Sri Lanka, with C1 ICTAD classification as a major road contractor for over a decade. Over the last 15 years CEC has grown from being a small independent contractor to a major construction and road development company, and is now recognized as a dependable contractor with a very high rating for delivering projects with great quality and on-time.

The company's relentless drive towards achieving quality of service saw the company achieve ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 9001-2008 certification, which established CEC's credentials as a construction company in Sri Lanka which is quality conscious and customer centric.CEC has successfully completed development of 500 kilometers of road in Sri Lanka thus far, with over 200 km in 2009/2010 alone.

One of the key success factors being that CEC owns an extensive inventory of plant and machinery used in road development projects, with 6 crusher plants, and 2 Asphalt plants along with 6 quarries, ensuring speedy supply of quality raw material to its work sites.
