Council of Women Refugees in Bulgaria

The Council of Refugee Women in Bulgaria is a non-profit association established in March 2003 and officially registered as a non-governmental organization by the Bulgarian Government on 17 March 2003 (Reg. No. 1221/2003). The Association is represented by Chairman of the Board Linda Awanis.

We support the right of choice that every person has in providing a better future for himself and his family regardless of gender, race, nationality, religion or ethnicity.

The Council of Refugee Women in Bulgaria works actively towards building tolerance, ethnic tolerance, understanding and support from the local community to refugee issues.

The Council of Refugee Women in Bulgaria considers that the presence of Peace is a natural condition and prerequisite for the positive development and prosperity of every human being.
