Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) has acquired a majority ownership of Consulting Engineering Services (India) Private Limited (CES). Founded in 1969, CES is a leading power, infrastructure, and civil engineering company in India, headquartered in Delhi. The combination of Jacobs and CES nearly doubles Jacobs' existing resources and capabilities in India to more than 4,500 employees and expands its presence in other regions in Asia and the Middle East.
