Founded in 1960, Shanghai Institute of International Studies is a high-level research institution and well-known think tank under the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. The main tasks of our hospital are: to serve the party and the government's decision-making as the purpose, to take policy advice as the direction, through the comprehensive research on contemporary international politics, economy, diplomacy and security, to provide powerful intellectual support for the party and government decision-making; Cooperation and exchange with domestic and foreign research institutions and experts and scholars to enhance China's international influence and international voice, and enhance the country's soft power.
