The Consultancy Academy

The Consultancy Academy is a community of academics and practitioners who specialise in methodology for Growing Businesses. The Academy has developed from the collaboration between academic University based communities, and a consortium of management consultancy practitioners and their organisations.

The reason why the Academy was developed, was to integrate the academic communities with practitioners, bringing “…research into practice…” and “…practice into research…”. The Academy is an independent organisation which sees itself as both academic and practice based. Its ‘independence’ comes from the fact that the Academy is not ‘in the pocket’ of a University; nor is it a subsidiary of an existing consulting company. As such, it can bring the best of both worlds, to achieve its raison d’etre, which is to bring about “…good thinking in practice!“.

Its primary goals are to deliver projects for clients which are well grounded, thoughtful and pragmatic, and focus on bringing about performance improvement, change and innovation in organisations. All our work takes academic precision in order to bring about effective change and growth in businesses.

The Academy has an extensive Affiliate network. Individuals and their companies can become Members, Associates, Fellows and, in some instances, Partners. Its Associates and Fellows, are guaranteed to be leading thinkers and practitioners in growing organisations. The Academy has within its ranks, specialists with knowledge and experience in many areas, who can instigate and manage organisation problem-solving, to achieve leaps in organisational performance improvement.
