About
Since its inception ACWA Holding has followed an expansionary path making long-term investments in various companies and sectors that provide synergetic value creating possibilities on its way to form a broadly-based holding company. ACWA Holding today groups together fully-integrated infrastructure projects and services companies with interests in power and water, manufacturing, utilities and services, construction and contracting, transportation and real estate development that can deliver services to each and every segment of the value chain.
VISION
To attain global leadership as an infrastructure developer through both acquisitions and greenfield project development.
MISSION
To promote economic and social development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the MENA Region and globally by pursuing a well-defined business model focused on asset development, ownership and management.
Since its founding, ACWA Holding, through its main affiliate ACWA Power International, has successfully pursued power and water development opportunities in Saudi Arabia and the wider Arabian Gulf region. Today, ACWA Power International stands as the largest private producer of water, a major generator of power and a leader in the privatization of state-owned utilities and assets in Saudi Arabia.
Pursuing further expansion, ACWA Holding has developed an integrated strategy of diversification into complimentary infrastructure activities including utilities and water management; district cooling; civil contracting; pipe, manufacturing; and industrial mining.
More recently, ACWA Holding has widened its activities into other infrastructure-related businesses such as the development of privately-owned industrial cities, transportation with considerable success in the areas of air cargo and the expansion of the Saudi transportation network and logistics in particular.
