COLLOSA (Construcciones y Obras Llorente S.A.)

Construcciones y Obras Llorente (COLLOSA) was founded in 1944 on the initiative of Patricio Llorente de Blas, who managed to consolidate a certain company within the construction sector. In 1978, it was incorporated as a joint-stock company when its children, Alejandro, Miguel Ángel and Patricio joined it, becoming consolidated as a medium-sized company. At the end of the 80s, it was transformed into a large business group, of which COLLOSA was the embryo. The need to diversify business activity gave way to new companies and to have holdings in other related, all that today constitutes CORPORACIÓN LLORENTE, with a purely family capital. Holding company that operates in sectors as diverse as construction, energy, services and leisure, and has consolidated its position in the Spanish national market and has strengthened the expansion of its activity in the international arena, being present in countries such as Chile, Peru or Qatar. The Corporation has experienced significant growth, above the average of the sectors in which it develops its business, reaching a high level of presence in emerging activities similar to that of the large groups with which it competes.
