About
The Romanian Health Promotion Association (ARPS) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization set up in December 2000.
Initially, the organization's work focused on health research and information and education campaigns to promote health among the population.
Since 2007, the association has developed and the projects have expanded to other areas - education, migration and social. These aspects have led to increased project and financial management capacity, which went in parallel with the development of project implementation capacity. Areas of expertise have diversified along the way and include: research, technical assistance, consultancy, information-communication, project management and training.
In 2012, the Center for Research and Documentation in the Field of Integration of Immigrants ( www.cdcdi.ro ) was set up within ARPS within which migration projects are being carried out.
In 2015, alongside other organizations, ARPS founded RoHealth - the Health Cluster ( www.rohealth.ro ) that aims to generate competitiveness and innovation in health through research, and to promote cooperation between companies, organizations, universities and public entities at national level.
