About

German Leprosy and TB Relief Association (GLRA) is an independent aid organization supported by donors, volunteers and employees worldwide. We are committed globally to and with people who suffer from diseases associated with poverty and can have devastating consequences for those affected - such as disability or exclusion.

We diagnose and treat leprosy, tuberculosis and other neglected tropical diseases such as Buruli ulcer and schistosomiasis. The heart of our work is the promotion of medical and social projects. We focus on the needs of those affected and want to enable them to live in dignity and to participate equally in the community. In our projects we cooperate with experienced local organisations. We cooperate with international and national players in medical and social development cooperation and research. We enter into strategic alliances in order to achieve the best possible impact.
