BOCAIP (Botswana Christian AIDS Intervention Programme)

Botswana Christian AIDS Intervention Programme (BOCAIP) is a non-governmental Christian organisation, registered under the Society’s Act of the Government of Botswana. It is a joint inter-denominational Christian response to the AIDS epidemic. BOCAIP is a national body with community-owned initiatives, directly governed by the Local Advisory Committees at grassroots level. These committees form a central part of the organisational structure enabling locally based participation and ownership. BOCAIP is governed nationally by the National Board, which reports to a General Assembly. Its membership is drawn from the total initiative of churches and other agencies in Botswana.
