BONEPWA+ (Botswana Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS)

BONEPWA + is a  national  umbrella body formed  in 2000 by and for People Living With HIV (PLHIV) and registered with the Registrar of Societies under certificate NO:CR 5894, with strategies that are intended to enhance the quality of life for  PLHIV.  BONEPWA + has a major function being to coordinate and manage Support Groups for PLHIV by  empowering them with skills, strategies,  and  to provide a friendly atmosphere to address their needs in a holistic manner and strengthen linkages between prevention, care and support services.

The Vision of BONEPWA+ is to live positively and reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS at the household and at the national levels by the year 2016.

The Mission of BONEPWA+ is to improve the well being and qualitty of life of all PLWHAs and their families and to protect the nation of Botswana from new infections through behaviour change, positive living, increased and utilization of care and support services.
