Vitens is the largest drinking water company in the Netherlands. We supply top quality drinking water to 5.7 million people and companies in the provinces of Flevoland, Friesland, Gelderland, Utrecht and Overijssel and municipalities in Drenthe and Noord-Holland. With around 1,400 employees, 100 production companies and a pipeline network of 49,500 kilometers, 347 million m3 of water is supplied annually. The annual turnover from water is around 333 million euros. Vitens shares are 100% owned by local and regional authorities.
