European Billiards and Snooker Association Ltd - EBSA

Europe is one of the largest snooker playing regions in the world, with more than 47 active member countries in the EBSA and the numbers are growing all the time.

The goal for the EBSA Coaching Academy is to develop a team of EBSA Coaches in all the European Countries to grow the game all across Europe.

The EBSA hosts two major tournaments annually, The European Championships with events for 18s, Under 21s and Men Championships, and Masters and the European 6 Reds, Teams and Single Ladies + Masters displaying the best up and coming talent from across the continent.

In 2004 the EBSA launched a new competition – The European Team Championships, featuring events for Men, Masters and Ladies. The inaugural event, which incorporates the former Continental Team Cup, was held in Riga, Latvia in March 2004.

In 2016 the EBSA launched another new competition – The European 6 Reds mixed gender championship. The inaugural event was held in Vilnius (Lithuania) in June 2016.
