MCC - Metallurgical Corporation of China

The MCC Group is the largest and strongest contractor in metallurgical construction and service provider in metallurgical enterprise operations; one of the enterprises with major resources determined by the State; the steel production enterprise with the largest production capacity in China; one of the first 16 central enterprises with real estate development as its major business determined by the state; and the main force for the infrastructure construction of China. In the early stages of the opening-up and reform, it created the well-known 'Shenzhen speed'. In 2015, the Corporation ranked 326th in the 'Fortune 500' and 10th in the Top 250 international contractors list issued by the Engineering News Record (ENR).The MCC Group is a national innovative enterprise possessing more than 53,000 engineering technicians. It has established 11 national scientific and technological innovation platforms. As at the end of 2014, the Group owned a total of 13,846 enforced patents, ranking 4th among central enterprises. The Group has received 51 State Science and Technology Prizes, 72 China Building Construction Luban Awards (including participating construction), 108 National Super Quality Awards (including participating construction), 9 China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Awards (including participating construction) and 421 Metallurgical Industry Quality Awards in total. It has 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 13 national investigation and design masters, 3 academicians and experts directly connected with the central government and 4 experts from the National Talents Project.
