OUR MISSION
Childhood Obesity is one of the most serious public health challenges of the 21st century and affects 42 million children worldwide. According to WHO (World Health Organization), 70 million young children will be overweight or obese by 2025. If this trend continues, we are facing the first generation that could live less than their parents.
Gasol Foundation, founded by Pau and Marc Gasol, has been working since 2013 to reduce childhood obesity rates through the promotion of sports and physical activity, healthy eating, sleep quality, and the emotional well-being of children, adolescents and their families in the United States and Spain.

NUESTRA MISIÓN
La Obesidad Infantil es un fenómeno que afecta a 42 millones de niños en todo el mundo y según la OMS se duplicará en 10 años hasta llegar a los 70 millones. Si la tendencia continúa, nos encontramos ante la primera generación que podría vivir menos que sus padres.
La Gasol Foundation, fundada por Pau y Marc Gasol, trabaja desde 2013 para reducir la Obesidad Infantil a través de la promoción del deporte y la actividad física, una alimentación saludable, las horas y la calidad del descanso y el equilibrio emocional, de niños y niñas, jóvenes y sus familias.
