We work with public, not-profit, and private sector organizations in Canada and internationally to deliver the services necessary to improve society and the lives of others by designing, planning, and implementing lasting change. We understand best-practices, engage stakeholders, and use advanced analytics to inform strategy and improve decision-making.We take a human-centred approach to service design by including the people we are designing for in all steps of the process. We believe it is important to involve clients and client-facing staff to co-design services and programs.Information technology is an important part of business improvement and organizational change. We help clients with technology strategy, system design, system selection, and have expertise in privacy and information sharing.Many organizations are going through broad-sweeping organizational change. We support our clients through transformation by providing structure, process and plans that make the change possible.Davis Pier’s new social innovation outpost, Pier Labs, works with partners in government, healthcare, academia, and the not-for-profit sector to help solve some of the toughest problems our region is facing. From healthcare, employment, and poverty, to education and public safety, our approach is to use behavioural science and evidence to develop policy and program improvements that we then rigorously test through experimentation.
