AUSER - Associazione per l'Autogestione dei Servizi e la Solidarietà

Auser is a voluntary and social promotion association, committed to promoting the active aging of the elderly and enhancing their role in society.
Our membership proposal is aimed primarily at the elderly, but is open to relations of dialogue between generations, nationalities, different cultures.
An association for which the person is the protagonist and a resource for himself and for others in all ages.

We aim to:

- Improve the quality of life;
- Counteract all forms of social exclusion and discrimination, in particular against migrants and women of all ages
- Support frailties
- Spread the culture and practice of solidarity and participation ;
- Valuing the experience, skills, creativity and ideas of the elderly;
- To develop relationships of solidarity and exchange with the younger generations.

Auser was established in 1989 by the CGIL and the SPI-CGIL pensioners' union.
It is recognized as a National Body with welfare purposes, and is registered in the National Register of Social Promotion Associations.
It is a non- profit organization.

In order to carry out its mission in the best possible way, Auser has decided, since 2003, to structure itself into two distinct entities: Auser Onlus, which mainly carries out social promotion activities, and the National Federation of Auser Voluntary Associations, dedicated to volunteering.
