About
The Warsaw Film School was created in 2004 by the director, screenwriter and producer Maciej Ślesicki as well as actor Bogusław Linda. Currently, it is the only film school complex in the country where bachelor and postgraduate studies, post-secondary studies, courses and two general secondary schools with film profiles and video game creation are conducted. The campus also includes the revitalized studio Elektronik Cinema.
The mission of the University is education not only through education in the institutions belonging to the complex, but also through a number of various initiatives, usually free and open to all interested, such as the largest scriptwriting festival in Poland, Script Fiesta, the School Film Academy, Game Jam events for game developers or meetings with important figures of culture.
