About

The following are some of the integral responsibilities of the Ministry:

To regulate the general operations for efficient and cost-effective use of resources and implementation of national government policies;
To supervise and manage the engineering, architectural and construction services to ensure that projects are cost-effective, conform to the established standards and meet the required quality. 
The Ministry also has responsibility for maintenance of Government buildings, regulation of electrical installation and education on applicable codes and practices throughout Grenada;
To develop policy and manage the government’s ICT services;
To manage and regulate the physical use of land in the country through the administration of land development application process and long-term planning initiatives.
The Ministry also has policy oversight for six (6) statutory organizations:
The Grenada Postal Corporation (GPC)
Gravel Concrete and Emulsion Production Corporation (GCEPC)
National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA)
National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC)
Physical Development
Transport Board
