TREK Development (ex TREK Consulting) is a seasoned Project Development & Finance and Professional Services firm, providing Development services all across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

Est in 1995 in Athens, with offices and subsidiaries in Thessaloniki and Munich, Germany (TREK Development sGmbH), TREK comprises of two Units:

The Project Finance & Infra Development Unit
The Regional Development Unit

On the Project Development side:

Over the course of operations, TREK has mobilized more than 4 billion Euro in direct financing of Infrastructure projects and Project Development initiatives, across Europe and the Middle East, mainly in the Energy, Energy Efficiency, RES and INFRA sectors. TREK is the first to mobilize EiB funds for Regional Government in Greece and first to apply new financial Instruments, derived directly form International Financial Institutions (IFIs) for the Banking sector in SE Europe. As of 2020 TREK claims the largest active portfolio of Energy Infrastructure projects in Greece, as Principal Advisor, initiator and Project Delivery.

On the Regional Development side:

TREK tackles the issues and problems facing the regions, including the formulation of territorial policies accordingly. We match needs and required regional interventions with available regional initiatives, so as to apply the best bespoke solutions. Our specific areas of interventions are: Spatial Development, Social Policy/Employment and SME Development.
