This Strategy is in turn aligned with the national priorities reflected in the National Development Plan (2006 - 2011), which laid the foundations of the areas and sectors considered a priority by the current government. Within the framework of this plan, seven strategic areas of cooperation for the period 2011-2015 have been identified: Transport, Water and Sanitation, Energy, Early Childhood Development, Health, Education and Strengthening of Public Management. Additionally, actions are planned on indigenous peoples and climate change issues, such as transversal support areas.
