DOXY focuses on producing films in all forms – whether it is a homeless opera, film column, (drama) series, feature film or a more ‘traditional’ documentary. Our projects reflect a curious, critical and inspired eye; it involves the reflection of people, stories, visual languages and presentation-forms that give society a twenty-first century face. In the Netherlands, Europe and the whole wide world. That face is shaped by cultural diversity and multi disciplinarily.

The power of DOXY is the years of experience and the extensive network of the production team, making dozens of films, winning national- and international awards, taking part in competitions of A-festivals and scoring (cinema) hits. Last year Slate funding has been made available to DOXY by the Netherlands Film Fund for the artistic development of new films.

In production are projects like Poor Boy, a theatrical feature film with music and dance which endorses the importance and eloquence of the arts; television series Delta which highlights the urgency of the effects of climate change and a film about the question behind the dazzling smile of one of the world’s greatest football talents, but is a sharp analysis of the global football industry as well. All matching DOXY’s vision of merging documentary and fictional styles of filming.
