State Road Agency - Ukravtodor (Ukraine)

Ukravtodor is the Ukrainian Government Agency responsible for the national road system and the general implementation of road projects.

Its goals are to provide growth of the highway network, enhance the movement safety, speed, comfort and effectiveness of passenger transportation and goods, enhance the transport and operational condition of roadways, bridges and road systems and enhance the ease of access to rural transport and ensure citizens' right to travel.

Its responsibilities include guaranteeing the establishment and deployment of state policy regarding the road economy, providing social assistance to road workers, ensuring the full and timely implementation of financial obligations for loans taken for the development of a network of general-use highways, organizing the construction, restoration, repair and maintenance of public roads, good engineering facilities, road service facilities and other structures and providing secure and consistent transportation.
