The National Institute of Agrarian Reform INRA is a decentralized public entity of the Ministry of Rural Development and Lands, with national jurisdiction, legal personality and its own assets. It is the technical-executive body in charge of directing, coordinating and executing the policies established by the National Agrarian Reform Service (Article 17 of Law No. 1715).

It is the agency responsible for planning, executing and consolidating the agrarian reform process in the country.

INRA is a strategic decentralized public institution for the agrarian revolution, which manages access to land in an efficient, participatory and transparent manner, primarily for indigenous, indigenous and peasant communities, to achieve equity in land tenure, guaranteeing legal security over their property and contribute to a true productive and territorial development, in harmony with nature.
