The main professional activity of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments in Kraljevo consists in the following methodological procedures:

○ Field research, records and documentation of cultural assets
○ Maintenance of registers by types of cultural assets and documentation with registers
○ Identification of immovable cultural assets of exceptional and great importance
○ Participation in the development and adoption of spatial and urban plans
○ Information and publishing activities
○ Project development and implementation research and protection works
