ATEC – Associação de Formação para a Indústria / Industry Training Association

ATEC - Training Academy, is a project conceived and promoted by Volkswagen Autoeuropaoeuropa , Siemens , Bosch Thermotechnology and Luso-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry , which materialized in December 2003 as a Training Association for Industry. It was born from the merger of the training structures in which Volkswagen Autoeuropa (FORMAUTO) and Siemens, SA (ANFEI - National Association of Industrial Electronic Training) participated, to fulfill the following premises:

• Expand practice-oriented training;
• Knowledge transfer and sharing;
• Qualify for the market, particularly for industry in general;
• Strengthen the industry, especially the automotive and electronic clusters.
