IEDE - Interdisciplinaridade e Evidências no Debate Educacional

In 2011, researcher Ernesto Martins Faria, who had been doing research in education for four years, created the blog Estudando Educação. In it, he published analyzes of themes relevant to Brazilian education, always valuing evidence (numbers and data) and educational context.

More than pointing out possible paths to education in the country, the blog's objective was to promote discussions on the subject and help qualify them. It is believed that, to a large extent, this purpose has been fulfilled. In three months, 22 reports were published on websites, newspapers and magazines or aired on radio and TV stations based on analyzes published on the blog or interviews granted by Ernesto.

From 2012 to 2017, Ernesto continued this work of support to journalists leading the research area of the Lemann Foundation.
