ISARD

The Institute for Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development is a fairly new voluntary organisation, committed to the greening vision, protection, conservation and management of natural resources in a sustainable manner for future use. The organization is concerned with the depletion of the natural environment, pollution of environment, biodiversity, climate change issues, limited access to energy and high levels of food insecurity. The ISARD was initiated with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life of the poor and marginalized groups and future generations in the society through national and international partnerships with local, international and civic society organizations as well as community based groups to provide support in various ways aimed at building the capacity of various groups (farmers, women, youths and children) in sustainable farming techniques, through the provision of training and information sharing in various areas in line with the greening concept.
