Nordea Finans AS (former SG FINANS AS, representative of Société Génerale in Norway)

SG Finans is the Norway’s leading financing company.

Nordea announced on 19 December 2019 that it had entered into an agreement with Société Générale to purchase SG Finans. On 1 October, SG Finans became part of Nordea Finance. 

Together we will become an even stronger and leading financial company in the Nordics. We complement each other well both in terms of industry knowledge, skills and distribution. And we look forward to continuing to deliver positive experiences with our innovative solutions. 

For you as a customer or business partner, it will initially not cause any major, practical consequences. For the time being, you will retain the same terms, conditions and contacts as you have today. If you are a customer of both Nordea Finance and SG Finans, you will receive information from both companies for a period of time.  

The former SG Finans will henceforth be marketed under the brand Nordea Finance, and the legal name will be Nordea Finance Equipment AS.
