Bunny Imports and Exports Limited (BIEL) is one of the largest distributors of fresh fruits and vegetables in the Caribbean region. BIEL has been established for almost ten years and while it is based primarily in Trinidad and Tobago, it is part of an international group of companies that also encompass financing, construction and energy. The domestic distribution channels include supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, processors, oil rigs, pharmacies and ‘owned’ retail outlets. This success has been driven by strong international alliances that facilitate the delivery of high quality products, on a consistent basis and at competitive prices.

BIEL has enhanced its strategic direction to develop the Agriculture/ Agribusiness industry both domestically and regionally. Investments have been made to develop farmers’ relationships (union assistance, financial and technical support), modern machinery introduction (such as greenhouses and advanced processing options), modern packaging facility, strategic alliance with key stakeholders in the industry and even encouraging youths into the agriculture program.
