About
The Lublin Development Foundation, created in September 1991 on the initiative of institutions involved in the economic development of the Lubelskie Voivodeship, is one of the longest operating Regional Development Agencies in Central Europe and one of the first institutions of this type in Poland. From the beginning, aiming to effectively support the socio-economic development of the Lublin Region, its main goal is to help entrepreneurs, business environment institutions and local governments.
The founders were, among others: Lublin Voivode representing the State Treasury, Lublin City Commune, Bank Depozytowo-Kredytowy SA, Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności Bank Państwowy, Bank Przemysłowo-Handlowy SA, Bank Rozwoju Eksportu SA, Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lublin and Economic Foundation in Gdynia.
