Blue Mountain Incorporated (BMI) is an engineering firm founded in 1991 in the Pittsburgh area. We specialize in aerial mapping, design, engineering, environmental, GIS, surveying, terrain modelling, airborne GPS, helicopter services, etc. For over 20 years, we have supplied various industrial markets in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Texas and throughout the mid-Atlantic region. We became part of the Thrasher Group Inc. in 2019 and, with their help, we can deal with complex infrastructure and development projects.  

Blue Mountain has vast experience in aiding E&P operators with full field development. With extensive experience, our staff are able to assist clients to develop project areas into constructable, accessible and economic drilling units. Our permit applications have been used by government agencies as examples for other consultants. With over 10 years’ experience, BMI is able to provide top-quality, high resolution aerial orthophotography, planimetrics, LiDAR and oblique photography. We assist throughout the construction phase of the project with the layout, inspection, compaction testing and material certification.
