GEOMONT

GéoMont, the Montérégienne Geomatic Agency , is a non-profit organization created at the end of 2003, based in Granby. Its goal is to make geomatics accessibleand to promote better use in Montérégie. All public bodies or non-profit organizations in the region that have a public interest mandate can join and benefit from the services of the Agency.

GéoMont is a platform for networking regional organizations, in particular to facilitate the sharing of expertise and information. The Agency works to provide these organizations with reliable, up-to-date and affordable geographic information.

GéoMont wants to promote a better knowledge of the territory and facilitate decision-making in terms of development and development of Montérégie.

Mission of the company:

• Provide professional services accessible to organizations in charge of regional territory management.
  
• Fully exercise its role of facilitator and promoter to regional organizations for optimal use of geomatics.
  
• Increase the networking of the user community to develop the sharing of expertise and information.
  
• Act as initiator and catalyst in the implementation of collective projects of regional interest.
