Knight Piésold Zambia

Knight Piésold Zambia, based in Kitwe, centers on supporting the mining, transportation, and hydropower industries. Key services include the design, management, and operation of tailings storage facilities; independent statutory inspections of mine waste dumps; and environmental and social impact assessments, environmental management plans, environmental audits, and closure planning.

Several roads projects are currently underway, such as the upgrading of 135 km of the Matebele-Shangombo Road in the Western Province of Zambia. Another current project is the reconstruction improvements of the Great East Road in Lusaka—a road that links the capital city with a highway system to Malawi, making it a key international trunk route.
