UEA - Université Evangélique en Afrique (Evangelical University in Africa

The Evangelical University in Africa "UEA" is located on the hill of Panzi, in the commune of Ibanda, in Bukavu, Province of South Kivu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Created in February 1991, the UEA began to function in October of the same year, after having received authorization to operate by Ministerial Order No. ESU/CAB.MIN/0253/91 of September 26, 1991. The first approval and recognition of first cycle diplomas were confirmed by Ministerial Order No. ESU/CAB.MIN/0313/92 while the second approval and recognition of second cycle diplomas were decided by Ministerial Order No. ESU /CAB.MIN/A5/175/95 of December 9, 1995. In 1997, the UEA was authorized to open the third cycle by Ministerial Order No. ESURS/CAB.
