National Erasmus Office in Palestine

National Erasmus+ Office in Palestine (NEO) is the official representative of Erasmus+ Programme. The NEO is responsible for the local management of the international dimension of the higher education aspects of the Erasmus+ Programme in 27 Partner Countries outside the EU in the Southern Mediterranean, Western Balkans, Eastern Europe, Russian Federation and Central Asia.

The National Erasmus+ Office of Palestine is the legitimate successor of the former National Tempus Office which was established in Ramallah in 2001. The role of the office is to implement, coordinate and promote the international dimension components of the Erasmus+ programme in Palestine. The Office is also responsible for improving the relevance, effectiveness and impact of the programme in the country.

The National Erasmus+ Office is acting on behalf of the EACEA (Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency) the EU Commission body in charge of managing the programme.
