Educational & Development Initiatives (EDI)

Educational & Development Initiatives (EDI) is a charitable Society registered in New Delhi with the aim of fostering ideals of service, advancement of learning, and relief for the poor. We have projects in Delhi, Haryana and Mumbai, and have reached to Jharkhand, Gujurat, and West Bengal through service camps.

The eleven founding members of EDI are parents and professionals. EDI was registered with New Delhi Register of Societies Registration No. S/28/95 dated 3 July 1995. EDI satisfies the conditions under section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act (1961) per the Department of Income Tax (Exemptions) and has received general permission to receive foreign contributions under the Ministry of Home Affairs with registration No. 231660039. The Permanent Account Number (PAN) of EDI is AAATE2524K.
